Privacy and cookies.
This notice explains what personal data bigfeet.be handles, why, and what you can do about it. In short: the site works without any tracking, and Google Analytics only runs if you accept it.
Who is responsible
Bigfeet, run by Evert Willems, Belgium. You can reach me at info [at] bigfeet.be.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you click “Accept” in the cookie notice, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to see how it is used: which pages are visited, roughly from which country and device, and how people arrive. This helps me improve the site. I do not use it for advertising, and Google signals and ad personalisation are off.
- Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with or the link in the site's footer; withdrawing removes the Analytics cookies.
- Provider: Google Ireland Limited, acting as processor. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Retention: event data is kept in Google Analytics for 2 months, the default setting.
- Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
If you click “Decline”, or make no choice, nothing from Google is loaded.

Hosting and e-mail
The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. Fonts are served from bigfeet.be itself, so no font service sees your visit. If you e-mail me, I use your message and address only to reply and to follow up on our conversation; e-mail runs on Google Workspace.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Write to the address above. If you think your data is handled wrongly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données) at dataprotectionauthority.be.
